Division 04

Mining Division

Unlocking Nigeria's vast solid mineral wealth — responsibly, sustainably, and profitably.

Nigeria's Mineral Potential

Nigeria is estimated to hold over 40 types of commercially viable solid minerals across its 36 states. Shebag Holdings entered the mining sector as a natural extension of our engineering and technical expertise — bringing the same rigour and experience to solid mineral exploration and extraction.

Our Mining Division operates in compliance with the Nigerian Mining Corporation guidelines and the Minerals and Mining Act, with a commitment to responsible extraction that benefits local communities and the Nigerian economy.

Gold

Alluvial and primary gold deposits found across Zamfara, Osun, and Oyo states. Processed for export to international refineries.

Use: Jewellery · Finance · Electronics

Sn

Tin (Cassiterite)

Nigeria's Jos Plateau has historically been one of the world's most significant tin-producing regions. Cassiterite ore sourced and processed for export.

Use: Soldering · Plating · Electronics

Cb

Columbite-Tantalite

High-demand rare earth mineral found alongside tin deposits on the Jos Plateau. Critical for capacitor manufacturing in the global electronics sector.

Use: Electronics · Aerospace · Defence

Fe

Iron Ore

Significant iron ore deposits across Kogi, Kwara, and Enugu states. Potential for domestic steel production and export of ore concentrate.

Use: Steel · Construction · Manufacturing

Li

Lithium

Emerging lithium deposits identified in Nasarawa and Plateau states — increasingly strategic in the context of global battery and energy storage demand.

Use: Batteries · EVs · Energy Storage

Qz

Quartz & Industrial Minerals

A range of industrial minerals including quartz, feldspar, limestone, and kaolin — supplying Nigeria's construction and manufacturing industries.

Use: Construction · Ceramics · Glass

Compliance & Responsibility

Regulatory Compliance

We operate under all applicable Nigerian mining regulations including the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act 2007, and maintain current mining licences from the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.

Environmental Standards

All sites are subject to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and ongoing environmental monitoring. Site rehabilitation is built into every operational plan.

Community Engagement

We consult and engage with host communities throughout the life of each project — creating employment, supporting local enterprise, and delivering tangible social benefits.

Health & Safety

Our operations follow international health and safety standards for mining environments. Worker training, PPE provision, and regular safety audits are mandatory across all sites.
